We approach the signs with their individual idiosyncrasies, the words with their typographic expressions, a text and its readability, and a publication with their grids.
The course provides insight into the history, present and future of typography and includes practical tasks for the experimental and applied handling of writing.

About

The goal of this course and the visualization of these posters was to analyze and present a topic and the gathered date for it.

On the right side, you can see the first project which consisted on visualizing my "mobility" from one week. The topic that I chose was: Where does my food comes from and the time that I spend cooking and eating it.

On the left side: you can see the second project, which´s goal was to visualize the mobility problems that wheelchairs in Berlin encounter. It gives information about the number of wheelchair users in Germany and Berlin. What are the most common problems that they encounter and their solutions as well as information about how handicap friendly the transports in Berlin are.

The task consisted in explaining a complex subject without words. I therefore decided in explaining how does a Mexican mortar is produced and how it can be used in the kitchen by explaining how to sauces: "Mexican Salsa" and "Guacamole
